Hello Slauson Families. Our first conferences of the year will be arena style - this means that teachers will be available to meet with each family for a few minutes to go over current grades, and student progress. Parents can pick which teachers they would like to see. I hope to see you all there!

First Week Happenings
Welcome to Slauson 6th grade families! Here are a few events to put on your calendar for the week of September 8th:
Tuesday 9/8 - The first day of school:-) Students should have received their 1st hour teacher's name in the mail. When they arrive at Slauson on Tuesday morning, they should report to that first hour teacher where they will receive the rest of their daily schedule and other necessary information. There will be lots of adults helping in the hallways to give directions, help with lockers and to give moral support while students are learning the building and their routine!
Wednesday 9/9 - School Picture Day - bring a smile! All photos will be taken between 8am and noon.
Thursday 9/10 - Math "Test Out" opportunity during 1st and 2nd hours.
Thursday evening is Curriculum Night:
6:00 PM 6th Grade PE Meeting – Upper Gym
6:30 – 8:00 PM Parents follow student schedule
